Biography Karen Thome, 54 of Walkerton, died July 30, 2009 in LaPorte Hospital .
She was born August 21, 1954 in LaPorte, daughter of the late Richard Allen and Phyllis Jean Allen.
She worked at American Home Foods and La Porte Hospital.
Surviving are 1 son, Eugene Thome; 5 grandchildren, Mercedes, Austin, Alexia, Chloe, and Ellie all of Walkerton; 1 sister, Phyllis "Sis" Todd of Ohio; and dear friend, Sammie Clowers of Walkerton.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marion Thome in 1972, and step mother; Norma Kinch.
Friends will be received from 10AM to Noon on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 and a Memorial Service will be held at Noon with Rev. Ron Dervenport officiating at the Cutler Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the Lakeville Cemetery, in St. Joseph County, Indiana.
