Kathleen A. Grage, 77 years old of LaPorte, formerly of Union Mills, IN, died 9:09 A.M. Saturday, June 19, 2010 in LaPorte .

She was born November 27, 1932 in LaPorte, IN, Daughter of Raymond W. and Anna L. (Heidke) Long.

On January 23, 1954, at the LaPorte Sacred Heart Church, she married Paul Junior Grage, who passed away on July 23, 2002.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Polish Falcons, and the Monday Senior Bowling League.

She had worked for Allis Chalmers, Whirlpool, Plimpton Press, Kaiser Aluminum, Howmet, and as a Cook at Union Mills and South Central School Corporations.

Kathleen enjoyed gardening, spending time with friends, working on Family Genealogy, and attending numerous LaPorte High School Band Concerts and Marching Band contests that her grandson Aaron participated in.

Surviving are her Daughter, Anna Elizabeth Cowgill of LaPorte; Sons, Stacy Paul Grage of Union Mills, Craig Matthew (Dawn) Grage of Clayton, IN, Reese Michael (Kelly) Grage of LaPorte, and Bruce Anthony Grage of Virginia Beach, VA ; 9 Grandchildren, Amanda, Alaina and Aaron Cowgill, Misty Grage, Zachariah and Thaddeus Grage, Ashley Grage, Stephen and Andrew Grage; 2 Great Grandchildren, Tyler Grage and Raymond D. Rheinholtz IV; Brothers, Harold R. Long of Attica, IN, Donald E. Long of Mill Creek, J. Patrick Long of Fish Lake, John H. Long of Fish Lake, Larry D. Long of North Liberty, and Francis W. Long of Westville.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Sister, M. Joan Buckmaster, and Brother, Terry L. Long.

Friends will be received from 4 - 8 P.M. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, IN. A Wake Service will be held at 6 P.M.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, LaPorte, IN, with Rev. David Kime officiating.

Interment will follow in the Union Mills Cemetery, Union Mills, IN.
