Kenneth L. Myer, 84 years old of La Porte, IN, died Monday, January 19, 2009 in LaPorte Hospital .
He was born August 9, 1924 in LaPorte, IN., to the late Daniel M. & Daisy D. (Replogle) Myer.
He was married on April 2, 1954 in Michigan City, IN to Barbara who preceded him in death June 13, 2003.
He worked for Allis Chalmers, Bendix Corporation, and retired as a machinist from Joy Manufacturing after 30 years. He was a member of the Machinist Union. He enjoyed fishing, tractor shows, watching the Chicago Bears, his computer, electronics and farming.
Surviving are 4 Daughters: Karen (Tim) Gorman of Brazil, IN., Kay (Mike) Bunda of Ft. Myers, FL., Carol Scott Boardman (Gregg) of LaPorte, Kim (Pat) Beach of LaPorte; 1 Son: Dennis Myer of LaPorte; 4 Grandchildren: Dalton, Sierra, Christopher and Amy
Friends will be received at the Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, IN. from 10 A.M. until 12 P.M. Friday, Jan. 23, 2009 with a Memorial Service at 12 P.M. with Rev. David Hill officiating. Cremation has taken place and burial of cremains will be at a later time in Pine Lake Cemetery
