Kerrie devoted her life to caring for others. While raising her children, she pursued both an Associate and a Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing. After graduation, she worked as a nurse for several years, most recently at Family Medicine Residency Program at Memorial Hospital of South Bend. More than anything, Kerrie found great joy in her family. Anyone who knew her, knew that her children and grandchildren were the joys of her life.
She was a beautiful soul who never met a stranger and a loyal and trusted friend to all who knew her. Kerrie’s selflessness, compassion, courage, and strength made her a loved and admired family member, friend, neighbor, mentor, and co-worker. She is and will be deeply missed.
