Kevin DeWayne Wilke, age 53, of La Porte, passed away on May 26, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Michigan City, IN, on March 1, 1961 to Carl and Eileen (Haynes) Wilke.
On July 9, 1994, he married Lisa (Nelson) Wilke who survives. Also surviving are his children, Kody, Chris, and Shelby Wilke all at home in La Porte, Jamie (Richie) Cannady of Michigan City, David Wilke of Michigan City, Jason (Vicki) Jackman of Fish Lake; grandson, James Mashburn of Michigan City; brother, Terry Wilke of La Porte; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Daniel Wilke, Ronald Wilke, and Mike Wilke; sister, Carlene Stalbaum; niece, Robin Wilke; and nephew, Andrew Wilke.
Kevin enjoyed selling at flea markets and yard sales. He also loved old cars and fishing.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Randy Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Pinhook Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Thursday, May 29, 2014 and also from 10 AM until the time of service on Friday at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
