Kim Marie Samford, age 54, of La Porte, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at her home. She was born in La Porte, IN, on August 19, 1962 to Charles "CJ" and Nancy (Houseknecht) Jorgenson.
On April 8, 1989, she married Robert Samford who survives. Also surviving are her beloved children, Kory (Jenna) Boardman of California and Brooke (Chad) Cisar of Otis, IN; a step-son, Robert Harry Samford IV; five grandchildren, Robert Harry Samford V, Jaxon Boardman, Kolton Boardman, Paige Cisar, and Hudson Cisar; two siblings, Joseph (Emmy) Jorgenson of Rolling Prairie, IN and Kisha (Todd) Jorgenson-Saboff of La Porte, IN. She was preceded in death by her father.
Kim operated her own cleaning business for many years, as well as working as a nanny. Above all, she was a loving and devoted Noni and Meme.
A cremation committal will take place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. In keeping with Kim's wishes, no public service or visitation is planned.
