Kirk Leslie Craft, 27 years old of La Porte, IN, died November 12, 2009 in his home.
He was born April 25, 1982 in La Porte, son of Leslie (Yolanda) Craft & Anne P.(Smith) Jonkind Craft who survive.
Kirk worked at Caseys in Westville and for his dad at Craft Farms in LaPorte. He was a 2000 LaPorte High School Graduate and attended PNC and Ivy Tech State College. He was a Chicago Bulls fan, enjoyed cooking and playing guitar and writing music. He showed cattle in LaPorte 4H for 9 years were he won the Showmanship Award.
Surviving are his parents; Les (Yolanda) Craft and Anne P. Craft of LaPorte, grandparents; Helen & Richard Pennman of LaPorte, aunt, Nancy Craft of Riverton, WY., sister, Jane (Clive) Evans of LaPorte and two brothers, Mark and Paul Jongkind of LaPorte, two step-brothers Brendan and D. Joseph Ferrari of Chicago, and two nieces, Ashley & Jillian Evans. He was preceded in death by his grandfather; Vance Craft.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 16, 2009 from 4-7 P.M. at Cutler Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 10-11 A.M. at the Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Loucks officiating. Burial will take place following the service in Kingsbury Cemetery.
