Larry L. Nulf, age 66, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at IU Health La Porte Hospital.
He was born on July 17, 1950 in La Porte, IN to Paul K. and Pansy T. (Leonard) Nulf.
Larry is survived by his children, Jason (Erin) Nulf of Lowell, MI and Jill (Cory) Wheeler of Fishers, IN; three grandchildren, Luke and Arden Wheeler of Fishers, IN, and Bodey Nulf of Lowell, MI; four sisters, Sandy (Bob) Palen of La Porte, IN, Sharon (Neal) Gorden of Walkerton, IN, Lynda (Bill) Friend of North Liberty, IN, and Paula Grimes of La Porte, IN. He was preceded by his parents.
Larry graduated from La Porte High School in 1969. He went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Army Reserves from 1970-77 and was a member of the American Legion Post #83 in La Porte. Larry was a very hard worker and spent several decades as a machinist. He loved auto mechanics and he loved to fix things.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Pastor Roger Ash will officiate. Burial will follow at Patton Cemetery in La Porte.
A time of visitation will be held from 12 pm until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations in honor of Larry may be made to the American Legion Post #83, 228 E. Lincolnway, La Porte, IN 46350.
