Lee Stacy, Jr., age 80, of Kingsford Heights, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Lee was born in Decoy, KY, on February 4, 1935 to Lee and Rosa B. (Miller) Stacy.
On May 4, 1963 in La Porte, IN, he married Carol Monroe who survives. Also surviving are his beloved children, Carol Denise (Ken) Spence of Greencastle, IN, and Lee Stacy, III of La Porte; siblings, Jerry Stacy of Knox, Jesse (Mary) Stacy of North Judson, David (Phyllis) Stacy of Tampa, FL, and Lovella Campbell of Bridgeville, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, James Stacy, Sherman Stacy, Olive Bell, Vina Madura, Pearl Sims, Bertha Stacy, Marie Gase, Sylvia Haddix, and Dora Suma.
Lee was retired from Modine Manufacturing. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of First Church of God.
A cremation committal has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Roger Ash officiating. Military honors will be presented.
A time of visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
