Lillie Polly (Little) Thompson

Lillie Polly Thompson, 54 Years, of Mill Creek, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 at her home.

Lillie was born in Dayton, OH, on October 20, 1964 to Eugene Lee and Shimma (Johnson) Little.

Lillie was married to Melvin Patrick Thompson who preceded her in death.  Surviving are her sons, Patrick (Morgyn) Thompson of Mill Creek, Matthew Thompson of Mill Creek; sister, Bonita Little of La Porte; brother, James "Jimmy" (Angela) Little of Ohio; grandchildren, Randi, Patrick "Bub", Theodore "Teddy" all of Mill Creek; a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin Thompson, and uncle, D.H. Johnson.

Lillie worked as a nurse for the last 28 years. She was a former CASA volunteer and obtained a bachelors degree in social work, she loved to work too much, spend time with her grandkids, and bargain hunt. She loved her family more than anything and will be greatly missed.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm (CT) on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Roger Ash officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 12pm (CT) until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family c/o Patrick Thompson to go to the grandchildren, 2900 Monroe St., La Porte, IN  46350.
