Linda L Eggleston, age 65, of La Porte, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at her home with her loving family by her side.
Linda was born on July 24, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Elmo P. and Joy L. (Mackey) Griswell.
On June 7, 1969 in La Porte, IN, she married Dennis O. Eggleston who survives. Also surviving are her beloved children, Sandra (David) Arndt of La Porte and Kenneth (Andrea) Eggleston of Walkerton; grandchildren, Tori, Ethan and Josh Arndt, Morgan and Ryan Eggleston; siblings, LaDonna (Ron) Bange of Savoy, IL, James Griswell of St. Joseph, IL, and Mike Griswell of Fishers, IN; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents; sister, Sharon Griswell; and grandparents.
Linda was a school bus driver for La Porte Community Schools for 37 years. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Jeff Zigler officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in La Porte.
A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 8 pm on Friday, September 25, 2015 and from 10 am until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
