Linda L. Kazmierzak, 59, Rolling Prairie, died at home of an illness at 4 a.m. Sunday (April 18, 2004).
The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Kanty Catholic Church, Rolling Prairie, with the Rev. Michael Heimer officiating. Burial is in Rolling Prairie Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte. The rosary will be recited at 7 tonight at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 16, 1944, in South Bend to Harold and Dorothy (Redding) Vosburgh. Her mother survives in New Carlisle. On May 9, 1964, in South Bend, she married Joseph D. Kazmierzak, who survives.
Survivors also include two daughters, Laura L. (Michael) Edgell and Debra (Chad) Weller, both of Rolling Prairie; three sons, Timothy (Rhonda) Kazmierzak, LaPorte, David (Janelle Keck) Kazmierzak, Rolling Prairie, and Steven (Amy) Kazmierzak, New Carlisle; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Jonathon, Michelle, Donald, Tyler and Cody.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Ashley and Sarah Kazmierzak.
Mrs. Kazmierzak was a former member of the 4-H Horse and Pony Association and a St. John Kanty Rosary Society member. She dearly loved her grandchildren.
