Linda Kay (Eikelberg) Woodruff

Linda Kay Woodruff, 70, of La Porte, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.

Linda was born in La Porte, IN, on October 5, 1948 to Ward and Betty (Lain) Eikelberg.

On December 19, 1967 in Wiesbaden, Germany, she married James Woodruff who survives.  Also surviving are her beloved children, Sharon (Mike) Glassman of La Porte and Lori Cox of La Porte; grandchildren, Ashley (Dakota) Conley of La Porte and Kayla (Jose Pedraza) Glassman of La Porte; great-grandchildren, Aedan, Ella, Elliot, and Owen; 2 sisters, Karen (Steve) Lemons of Michigan City and Julie (Eric) Dietz of Lafayette; brother, Jim (Carla) Eikelberg of La Porte; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Linda was the head of Kroger Deli for 30 years.  She was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church.  She also sang in the church choir and worked as the church secretary for seven years.  Linda enjoyed ceramics, scrap booking, and especially babysitting her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Ronald Brauer officiating.

A time of visitation will be held from 3 pm until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at a later date.
