Lindsey O'Brien Kesling
Loved without measure, cherished completely and cared for endlessly, she sparkled with the promise of life's pure light, hope's brave song, compassion's one true heart, beauty's unending sonnet, spirit's lasting quest and future's next dance.
Lindsey O'Brien Kesling was born on May 13, 1988 in Michigan City, IN, and passed away on Nov. 9, 2010 in Scottsdale, AZ alongside her faithful and adoring canine companion, Chillbe. Beloved daughter of Andrew Kesling and Dorothy (Rogers) Kesling; adored sister of Katie, Calvin and William; cherished granddaughter of Dr. Peter and Charlene Kesling, of La Porte, IN, and the late James and Jean Rogers, of Owensboro, KY. Dear niece of Diane Rogers Abbinanti (Sam), of Los Angeles, California; Nancy Rogers Pelletier (Gaetan), of, San Diego California; Jo Rogers Barron (Bill), of Owensboro, Kentucky and Sue Rogers Tagmyer (Bob), of Centennial, Colorado and Toni Rogers Smith (Paul)of Denver, CO., also, dear niece of Chris (Tami) Kesling, of LaPorte, IN; Emily and Adam Kesling, of New Buffalo, MI. Loved and adored by many cousins and countless friends. Her beloved partner, Steve Deprizio and his cherished family, Joe and Adele.
Lindsey was a graduate of La Porte High School and Indiana University (BS). She volunteered for many years with the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington, IN. Lindsey loved children and travel. Talented in sewing, design and drawing, she also had a heart for the hearing impaired and completed advanced instruction in sign language. She is most thought of by her family and countless adult and childhood friends for her determination to live each day to the fullest; her vibrant and happy spirit; her loving and warm ways; her kindness and radiance; and, most of all, her beautiful smile and eyes that welcomed everyone she met. Lindsey had been living and working for TP Orthodontics in Sales and Marketing in Scottsdale, AZ, since early fall 2010.
Visitation for Lindsey will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010 from 4-8PM CST at Cutler Funeral Home in La Porte IN. A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at 11AM at Countryside Christian Church, 7056 W. 450 N., Michigan City, IN, with Rev. Rodrick Hoffman officiating.
