Lisa Michelle (Kroening) Eldridge

Lisa Michelle Eldridge, 51, of La Porte, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at her home, surrounded by those that dearly love her.

Lisa was born on October 20, 1969 in La Porte, IN, to Edward Henry Kroening, II and Myrna Jean (Human) Kincannon.

Lisa is survived by her loving daughter, Elise Michelle Eldridge, and Elise's father, James Eldridge, both of La Porte; sons, Joshua Benjamin Hurst of La Porte, Timothy Edward Neary of La Porte, and Joel Christian (Anna) Neary II of South Bend; mother, Myrna Jean Kincannon of La Porte; siblings, Vicki Suzanne Parks and Steven Russell Kroening, both of La Porte; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; father, Edward Henry Kroening II; and brother, Edward Henry Kroening, III.

Lisa was a homemaker who loved gardening, yard work, and decorating her home.  She also enjoyed long country drives.  Lisa always made her children a priority and enjoyed doing things for them.  Even during her 5 1/2 year battle against cancer, Lisa selflessly and honorably cared for her family.  More than anything, Lisa loved the Lord and gave all credit to Him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Carl Galloway and son, Joel Neary, II, officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
