Lois Stayback

Lois Stayback, 87, of La Porte, passed away on August 14, 2018 at her home with her family by her side.

Lois was born on December 23, 1930 to Frank and Dorothy (Garloff) Hutton.

In 1953, she married Robert Stayback who preceded her in death in 1978. Surviving are her son, William Stayback; daughters, Tari (Al) Taylor and Kathi (Curt) Lofton all of La Porte; grandchildren, Trisha Pieszchala, Lisa Pritchett, Misty (Shane) Karshner, Dylan Lofton, and Andrew Arndt; great-grandchildren, Avarey Pieszchala, Brody Bennett, Blake and Van Karshner; sisters-in-law, Betty Sherrick, Carolyn Purvis; and several caring nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; sisters, Eileen McKay and Glenna Clark; and brothers, Ronald and Francis Hutton.

Lois was graduated from Rolling Prairie High School in 1948.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM (CT) on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. A time of visitation will be held from 9 AM (CT) until the time of the service at the funeral home on Friday.  Burial will take place following the service at Pine Lake Cemetery.
