Loren L. Dingman, 44, Michigan City, died of natural causes at 4:45 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 3, 2004) at Horton Hospice Center, Valparaiso.
A memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cutler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Stephanie Jordan officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Dingman was born April 13, 1959, in Michigan City, to Lowell G. and Lesley (Peo) Dingman. His father preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Lesley Wooton, Michigan City; a daughter, Megan Dingman, Michigan City; a son, Niklas Dingman, Michigan City; four sisters, Lynne (Bob) Kasar and LaVerne Kniola, both of Michigan City, LaVonne Wick, Yuba City, Calif., and LaDonna (Bob) Danielson, Granger, Ind.; two brothers, Lanny (Joyce) Dingman, Yuba City, Calif., and Lyle (Susan) Dingman, Michigan City; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Dr. Kempton Wooton.
Mr. Dingman worked for FedEx and Michigan City Baking Co. He was a member of the St. Joseph Young Men's Society, was an avid photographer and enjoyed music.
