Lorraine Lena (Lowery) Gresham

Lorraine Lena Gresham, 87, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Golden Living Center in La Porte.

Lorraine was born on September 4, 1931 in Myrtle, MS to Joseph and Ruth (Tucker) Lowery.

Surviving are her daughter, Phoebe (Terry) Miller of Washburn, WI; three sons, Jeff Orszulak of La Porte, Danny Orszulak of Michigan City, Mike Orszulak, Jr. of Clermont, FL; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ted Gresham, Stanley Zedeck, and Mike Orszulak; 5 sisters and 4 brothers.

Lena worked as 2nd Cook at Fairview Hospital for many years.  She and her husband Ted managed Country Acres Apartments in La Porte and retired in 1992.  She was a member of the Church of Christ in Michigan City where she was involved in weekly Bible Study.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.  A private family service has been held with interment at Patton Cemetery.
