Lou Ann Rogers, 76, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away at 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at her home.
A requiem mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Endres officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Rolling Prairie Cemetery.
Lou Ann was born May 16, 1930, in Chicago, IL to the late Frank F. & Eva (Collyer) Bush. In 1952, in Rolling Prairie, she married William B. Rogers who preceded her in death December 29, 1996.
Survivors include daughter Valerie Ann (Dr. Richard) Johnson of Gatlinburg, TN; son William B. (Fonda) Rogers, II; grandchildren Michael Rehlander, Natalie (Rehlander) Lee, Rhea Ann Rogers, Hewitt Rogers, Cameron Rogers, Reanna Neville, Kaley Neville, Derek Patterson; great-grandchildren Sydney Lee, Garrett Lee & Jayden Rehlander; sisters Eva Williamson, Betty McIntyre, Barbara Hall, Jeannie Ellis, and Bonnie Brainerd; and brothers Frank & Barry Bush.
Brothers Lester, Cyril, Meredith and Sam Bush preceded her in death.
Lou Ann had worked as a clerk at the LaPorte County auditor's office for 20 years. She was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Anglican-Rite Catholic Church, the Order of the Eastern Star #280, and BETA SIGMA PHI.
