Louis F. Dhondt, 90 years old of LaPorte, IN, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012 in Golden Living Center Fountainview.
He was born August 26, 1921 in Mill Creek, IN, Son of the late Amedee and Elizabeth (Pickavet) Dhondt.
Louis was a graduate of Kingsbury High School. He worked as a Milk Delivery Man, former supervisor at Modines in LaPorte and also ran a gas service station in California.
Louis was married on April 21, 1967 in Southgate, CA. to Bonita (Giles) Dhondt who preceded him in death on September 20, 2011.
Surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; 1 Brother: Joseph Dhondt and 1 Sister: Margaret Reed.
A private family gathering will be held. Cremation will take place and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
