Louise Lukac, 79 years old of La Porte, Indiana, died at 1:30 AM Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Golden Living Center Fountainview, LaPorte, IN.
She was born October 22, 1930 in Denham, Indiana, Daughter of Earl and Irene Thews Okeley . On June 14, 1947 in Knox, Indiana, she married Steve Lukac.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Lukac of LaPorte, IN. 7 Sons: Raymond (Carol) Lukac of Kingsbury, IN, Thomas (Susan) Lukac of LaPorte, IN, William (Peggy) Lukac of LaPorte, IN, James Lukac of LaPorte, IN, Steven Lukac, Jr. of Bennsenville, IL, Jerry (Tawnya) Lukac of LaPorte, IN and Robert Lukac of LaPorte, IN. 8 Brothers and Sisters: Doris Wroblewski of LaPorte, IN, Lila (Calvin) Rudd of Valparaiso, IN, Alice (Evert) Miller of Knox, IN, Donald (Cathy) Okeley of Knox, IN, Joyce (Jim) Bailey of Knox, IN, Charlie (Orpha) Okeley of Bluffton, IN, Robert (Pat) Okeley of Valparaiso, IN and Elsie Papp of Munster, IN. 12 Grandchildren: Matthew and Alisha Lukac, Joey and Kyle Lukac, Tyler Lukac, Heather Swanson, Jerry (Brandi) Lukac, Jr., Roberta (Lee) Mumaw, Kristie (Tim) McCormick, Tabitha Worthington, Josaiah Pittmon and Michelle Dunfee. 9 Great Grandchildren: Dylan and Bailey Mumaw, Loren, Nicolas and Nathan Lukac, Ryan Dunfee, Jacob, Johnathan and Sara McCormick.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, 3 Brother's, William, Lester and Kenneth Okeley, 2 Grandchildren, Gerald Lukac,II and Robin Lukac.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother,
great-grandmother, and an avid Cubs fan.
Friends will be received at the Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, IN. on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from 4-8 PM and on Wednesday from 10-11 AM.
Services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at the Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Devenport officiating.
Interment will follow in the Kingsbury Cemetery, Kingsbury, IN.
