Mable Ruth Gaul, 95, LaPorte, died at 10:50 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 22, 2004) at LaPorte Hospital.
A memorial service is at 11 a.m. Thursday at LaPorte First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Doug Hadley officiating. Burial is in Pine Lake Cemetery at a later date. Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, handled the arrangements.
Mrs. Gaul was born Oct. 23, 1908, in LaPorte to George and Nell (Payne) Gilderman. On Nov. 30, 1933, she married Harold Mike Gaul, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda (Jeff) Myers, South Bend; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Norman and Dave Gaul, and two brothers.
Mrs. Gaul was a member of LaPorte First United Methodist Church, where she was active in the church choir. She was a member of the Lionettes, American Red Cross and was a hospital volunteer.
