Margaret Rose Czarnecki, age 71, of La Porte, passed away on August 19, 2013 at IU Health LaPorte Hospital.
She was born in La Porte, IN on May 25, 1942 to Herman L. and Alta I. (Jensen) Harness.
On September 28, 1963 in Kingsford Heights, she married Kenneth Czarnecki who survives. Also surviving are her beloved children, Laura C. (Bryan) Metzger of York, PA., Kenneth M. Czarnecki II of Walkerton, IN., David W. (La Donna) Czarnecki of Lewisville, TX; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Anthony, and Benjamin Metzger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Norman L. Harness.
Margaret worked as a Real Estate Agent for Betty M. Daniels Realty. Margaret attended Purdue University and was very proud of her Real Estate License. She loved flowers and gardening, and was a member of the 4 Seasons and past president of the Terre Verde Garden Club.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Rev. Larry Owens officiating. Burial will follow at St. Martin Cemetery in La Crosse, IN.
A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and also on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
