Margaret Johnson Dring, 96, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008 at 9:27 A.M. at LaPorte Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M.(EST) Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Chambersville Cemetery, Spencer, IN.
Margaret was born October 10, 1911 in Stinesville, IN to the late Joseph and Hattie (Wetzel) Johnson.
Margaret was married on March 31, 1955 in LaPorte, IN to Robert William Dring who preceded her in death on January 25, 2001.
Survivors include 3 Cousins: Mary Young, June Hendricks, and Fred Wampler all of Bloomington, IN.; 2 Caregivers: Sharon Diangikis and Pat Kwaitowski.
Margaret was a teacher for 4 years in Stinesville, IN., 9 years at Lancaster Central in Wells County, IN., and 29 years at LaPorte High School. Margaret was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
