Marguerite Ellen Mydels, 82, of LaPorte, Indiana, died at 9:23 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at Countryside Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
Marguerite was born August 27, 1922, in Belding, Michigan to the late George and Margaret Fish. On August 30, 1941, she married John Mydels, who survives.
Survivors also include daughter Pam Heintz of LaCrosse, WI; son John T. Mydels of Washburn, WI; 2 grandchildren; and sister Nina Marquardt of LaCrosse, WI.
Marguerite was an active member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, LaPorte. She also enjoyed playing golf in the Women's League at Beechwood Golf Course.
