Marie Kuzdas, 92 of La Porte, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in La Porte.
She was born June 20, 1916 in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph & Mary (Masopust) Toman.
Marie married Edward Kuzdas Jr. on June 19, 1937 in Chicago, IL., who preceded her in death August 16, 1947.
Surviving are two sons, LeRoy (Beverly) Kuzdas of New Lenox, IL, and Leslie (Louanne) Kuzdas of La Porte; five grandchildren, Louis (Terri) Kuzdas of Walkerton, IN, Lawrence (Jennifer) Kuzdas of Rolling Prarie, IN, Lesley (James) Lefeber of La Porte, IN, Lisa (Eric) Reil of New Lenox, IL, and Laura (Jeffery) Pafford of New Lenox, IL; two sisters, Josephine Millas of Chicago, IL and Dorothy Borucki, of Orland Park, IL; brother, Edward (Carol) Toman of Gardner, IL, and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Joseph Toman.
Marie retired from A&P (Chicago) and moved to Fish Lake, IN, in 1978.
Friends will be received on Friday, March 20, 2009 from 4 - 7 PM at Cutler Funeral Home, La Porte, IN. A wake service will take place at 5 P.M. with Rev. Ian Williams officiating.
A burial service will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
