Marie Link Mueller, 100, of LaPorte, Indiana, died at 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at Fountainview Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Rev. James Jones Officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
Marie was born September 18, 1904 in Chicago, Illinois to John & Elizabeth (Alberty) Link. On July 29, 1927, she married Herbert Mueller, who preceded her in death on October 11, 1960.
Survivors include a son-in-law, Paul Peterson, Evanston, IL; grandchildren David Peterson, Tallahassee, FL and Janis Mayberry, Gig Harbor, WA; 4 great-grandchildren; and care-givers and good friends, Ira & Laura Smyrl, LaPorte.
Marie had retired as a secretary at the Whirlpool Corporation and First Universal Travel. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of LaPorte, the Eastern Star of LaPorte, The American Red Cross Braille Auxiliary, the Historical Society and People to People.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
