Marilee (Bowers) Mantick, 85, originally from La Porte passed away June 28, 2016 in Peoria, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Mantick as well as two brothers and one sister. She is survived by her two sons, Dennis and Duane, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mantick had worked at First National Bank as well as being the School Secretary at St. John’s Lutheran School for 11 years. She was also a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Mrs. Mantick was laid to rest in a graveside service at St. John’s Cemetery in La Porte on August 6, 2016. Funeral arrangements were handled by Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
