Biography Marion Curtis, 95, of LaPorte, Indiana, died at 4:18 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at Countryside Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Ohime officiating. Visitation is at Cutler Funeral Home on Monday from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
Marion was born February 20, 1910, in Hart, Michigan to Marian Judson & Matilda Bertha (Mundt) Shafer. On March 16, 1929, in Lyons, Illinois she married Warren L. Curtis, who preceded her in death June 24, 1996.
Survivors include daughter Jane Siglinger of New Carlisle, IN; son Gene Curtis of Kouts, IN; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and sister Arvilla Finnigan of Tacoma, WA.
A daughter, Joan Timm, a grandchild, a great-grandchild, four sisters and six brothers preceded her in death.
Marion was a member of the LaPorte First Baptist Church.
