Marion Jean Heise, 80 years old of La Porte, IN, died in Thurs. April 1, 2010 in La Porte Hospital
She was born May 9, 1929 in LaPorte, Indiana , Daughter of the late William and Maybelle(Shaw) Bower
Marion worked for 20 years and retired from the Wax Department at Howmett. She was a 1947 Graduate of LaPorte High School. Member of VFW Post 1130 Auxiliary for many years.
Surviving are sons, Dean(Sharon) Heise of LaPorte, Bruce Heise of Walkerton, daughter, Carol(Ed) Semla of Warsaw, IN., 6 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Heise and her parents, son, David Heise, brother, Paul and 4 sisters, Mary, Dorothy, Ilene, and Adaline .
There will be a Memorial Service for Marion, husband Ralph and their son; Dave "Gritter" Heise at 11:00 A.M. on Friday April 16, 2010 at the Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Rod Nielson officiating with burial in Patton Cemetery. There will be full military honors for Ralph Heise at the cemetery. A reception will be held at the VFW following the service at the cemetery.
