Marti was a proud United States Air Force Captain's wife. While stationed at Keesler Air Force Base, Marti was the editor of the Base Wives' newsletter as well as an American Red Cross volunteer. Her volunteerism continued through her work as a teacher for CCD classes at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Marti felt it a privilege to be able to pour into the lives of the students. She enjoyed watching her favorite shows, which included: NCIS, Oak Island, Castle, Murder She Wrote and anything on Hallmark Mysteries. Marti was the heart of the closest knit family the world could ever know. There wasn't a day that would go by where the phone wouldn't ring, the doors weren't opened, or meals weren't shared. She never missed a chance to attend every event and concert for her husband, children, and grandchildren. She touched the lives of so many.
