Mary A. Serritella, 65 of Chesterfield, MO and formerly of La Porte, IN, passed away at 9:35 AM EST, Sunday, September 10, 2006 at her home.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, September 13 at St. Peters Catholic Church, La Porte, IN. Interment will take place at 11 AM Thursday, September 14 at the Queen of Heaven Chapel, Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Chicago, IL. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12, from 4-8 PM at the Cutler Funeral Home, La Porte, IN. A Prayer Service will begin at 7 PM on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
Mary was born August 22, 1941 in Baltimore, MD to John D. and Marie (Voosen) Zelinka. On July 30, 1966 in Chicago, IL, she married Dr. Alfred A. Serritella.
Mary is survived by her Husband, Alfred of Chesterfield, MO. Two Daughters, Dr. Tina (Dr. Daniel) Reising of St. Louis, MO, and Nicole Serritella of South Bend, IN. Three Grandchildren, Holly Reising, Ella Reising and A.J. Serritella. A Sister, Joan Zelinka of Baltimore, MD. Two Nieces, Celeste Matsushima and Babette Potter. One Nephew, David Palmer. A Great Aunt, Mary R. Serritella of La Porte, IN and many, many friends.
Mary was proceded in death by her Parents, John D. and Marie Zelinka. Her Mother and Father-in-law, Betty and Carl Serritella. A Great Aunt, Dorothy LaGuardia.
Mary had worked at Digestive Healthcare of Michigan City, IN, where her husband, Alfred was a partner. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church and Bible Study, La Porte, IN, and the La Porte Service League.
