Mary "Katie" Katherine (Price) Mason, 76 years old of La Porte, IN, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at home in LaPorte, IN.
She was born August 20, 1935 in Sullivan, IN Daughter of the late Frank Ira and Thelma Violet ( Miller) Mason.
Mary worked for Berkel Inc. for 32 years.
Surviving are her 3 daughters: Pamela Majcher, Jeri (Bruce) Dove, Debra (Reginald) Williams, Jr.; 5 grandchildren: Andrea (Bonnie) Dove, Bruce (Katina) Dove, Jr., Joseph (Laurie) Majcher, Craig (Kimberly) Majcher, Jason Majcher; 9 great grandchildren: Kaitlyn Dove, Joshua Dove, Joseph Majcher, Levi Majcher, Nathan Majcher, Nickolas Majcher, John Schaible, Colin Schaible, Austin Cummings; 2 brothers: Henry Eugene Mason, Robert (Diane) Mason; 1 niece: Jane Horn; 4 nephews: Martin Depp (Ranella)Mason, Stephen Mason, David Mason and Michael Mason.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother: Frank; 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law: Nancy Mason and Yvonne Mason.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Kim Landrum officiating.
There will be a time of visitation from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, September 19, 2011 and also on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of service at Cutler Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, IN.
Contributions may be made to the Mixed Up mutts, LaPorte County Small Animal Shelter, LaPorte County Counsel on Aging, Real Services, Meals on Wheels or the Hospice of Donor's choice.
