Mary Etta Wagoner

Mary Etta Wagoner, 83, of La Porte, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 at her home.

Mary was born in Monroe City, IN, on April 30, 1934 to James Orlando and Bessie (Hildabrand) Cockerham.

Mary was married to her husband of over 60 years, Robert Curtis Wagoner who survives in La Porte.  Also surviving are her daughters, Cathy Buss of La Porte and Tammy Eskridge of La Porte; grandsons, David Buss, Cody Buss, and Tim Werner; granddaughter, Mary Mendoza; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Bobbie Sue Nowell.

Mary and her husband owned an excavating company and she helped run the business for over 40 years.  She loved to travel internationally to places like the Bahamas, St. Thomas, and Rome. She loved Las Vegas. She enjoyed going to McDonalds every morning and visiting.

Cremation has taken place at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 4-5 pm (CST) on Friday, January 26, 2018 at The La Porte Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
