Michael C. Coots

Michael C. Coots, 55, of Logansport, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso, IN.

Michael was born on July 31, 1963 in Gary, IN, to Randall C. Coots and Gloria J. (Dyer) Holeman.

Surviving are his parents, Gerald and Gloria Holeman of Union Mills; brother, David L. Coots of Sandusky, OH; stepbrothers, Gerald D. (Lori) Holeman of Duluth, MN and Jeff L. (Chris) Holeman of Indianapolis; aunts, Phyllis A. Leimbacher of Valparaiso and Linda Dyer of Greenwood; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his uncle, Tom A. Dyer and grandparents, Sidney A. and Anne R. Dyer

Michael was an athlete in the Special Olympics and enjoyed swimming, bowling, horseshoes.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am (CT) on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Roger Ash officiating.  Burial will follow at Union Mills Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 8 pm (CT) on Sunday, October 28, 2018 and from 10 am (CT) until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
