Michael E. Maynard

Michael E. Maynard, 54, of La Porte, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Regency Hospital in Portage.

Michael was born in Chicago, IL, on November 22, 1963 to Bill Maynard and Vivian P. (Johnson) Manns.

Surviving are his father, Bill Maynard of La Porte; stepfather, Adam Manns of La Porte; sisters, Kim Fox of La Porte, Misty Ostrander of Niles, MI, and Kelli (Graham Pappas) Maynard of La Porte; nieces and nephews, Audra Fox, Matthew Fox, Jessica Fox, Devon Duschek, Ava Duschek, Alexa Duschek, Xander Pappas, Elise Ostrander, and Dylan Ostrander.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Manns.

Michael served over 20 years in the US Air Force.  He enjoyed rating the beers at beer festivals, music, and he loved his cats.

A time of visitation will be held from 5-8 PM (CST) on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  A graveside service will be held at a later time at Graceland Cemetery. Please come casual or wear Tie-Dye if you have it.
