Michael D. Meer

Michael "Mike" D. Meer, Jr., 40, of Michigan City, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019.

Michael was born on July 12, 1978 in Michigan City, IN, to Michael and Vicki (Stone) Meer, Sr.

On July 17, 2012, he married Samantha Toothman who survives.  Also surviving are his beloved sons, Dominique, Allen, and Charlie Meer, all of Michigan City; 3 sisters, Margaret Meer of Michigan City, Sharon (Robert) Wright of Michigan City, and Kristi Meer of Mishawaka; 3 nephews, Christian, Easton, and Landyn Meer, all of Mishawaka; and 2 cats, Fonzie and Sugure.

He was preceded by his mother, Vicki Meer and 2 sisters, Michelle Meer and Maureen "Cissy" Meer.

Mike owned his own bread route. He enjoyed basketball, gambling, and eating pickles, tomatoes, and hot sauce.

A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 8 pm on Monday, April 22, 2019 and from 10 - 11 am on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Family and friends are invited to process to Kingsbury Cemetery at 11 am where a graveside service will be held.

Memorial donations may be made to establish a trust for Mike's sons, c/o Samantha Meer, 2900 Monroe Street, La Porte, IN  46350.
