Michael A. Schoff, 58, of LaPorte, IN, died at 5:05 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2004 at the Porter Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, at the LaPorte Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. David Gibbs officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00-6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Cutler Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Tracy Cemetery, at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2004.
He was born May 24, 1946 in LaPorte, IN to Ralph & Annette (Ellis) Schoff. On August 16, 1975, in LaPorte, he married Betty B. Bohac, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Greg Ryan & Bret Michael Schoff, both of LaPorte; his parents, also of LaPorte; a sister, Nancy (David) Draves, Kingsford Heights, IN; and two brothers, Steven (Teena) Schoff and Charles Schoff, both of Union Mills, IN.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Michael had worked as a sales manager for Miric & Associates, based out of Rockford, MI. He was a member of the Beechwood Men?s Club, the LaPorte Presbyterian Church and the American Legion. He was a graduate of Union Township High School and Purdue University. He had also served in the US Army Reserves.
