Minerva Anna Pozil, 92, of LaPorte, died at 8:30 p.m. Satur-day, July 3, 2004 at LaPorte Hospital.
A private family service will take place following cremation. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Cutler Funeral Home.
She was born May 13, 1912 in Chicago, Illinois to Murl & Anna (Springer) West. On June 9, 1934, she married John Pozil, who preceded her in death on December 17, 1972.
Surviving are a daughter, June (Dale) Drader, Hanna, IN; a son, Murl Pozil, LaPorte; 4 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Pozil was a member of the Hanna Methodist Church and a 1931 graduate of Hanna High School. She was a homemaker, a wonderful cook and peacekeeper.
