Montie Crumwell Bowen, 61 years old of LaPorte, IN, died Sat. May 1, 2010 in his home.
He was born January 18, 1949 in LaPorte, Indiana, Son of the late Montie Clayton Bowen and the late Dorthy Josephine( West) Bowen.
He was a Life Member of the DAV and NRA. He retired from the US Army as a Staff Sgt. after 15 years .
He married Barbara Bowen who survives
Surviving are a daughter; Michelle Parker of Michigan City, IN., son; Montie (Hope) Bowen of Ft. Hood, TX., .stationed in Iraq with the US Army, Grandchildren; Alexis & Amber Parker, Nicholas & Brandon Bowen
He was preceded in death by by his parents, brother and a.sister .
Full Military Services will be held at Patton Cemetery, 11:00 AM Wednesday May 5, 2010
