Mrs. Barbara J. Myer, 71, of 2502 W. 450 N, LaPorte,IN, died at 5:00 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2003 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness.
A private family service will be held at the Cutler Funeral Home in LaPorte, on Monday, June 16, 2003. There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Myer was born July 11, 1931 in Kentucky to Jesse & Daisy (Baker) Taylor. On April 2, 1954, in Michigan City, IN, she married Kenneth L. Myer, who survives.
Also surviving are 3 daughters, Kay Bunda of South Bend and Carol Scott Boardman and Kim Beach, both of LaPorte; a step-daughter, Karen Gorman of Brazil, IN; a step-son, Dennis Myer of LaPorte; 2 grandchildren, Dalton & Sierra and 2 step-grandchildren. Four sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Myer was a mother and a homemaker.
