She was born October 13, 1923 in Towne County, ND, Daughter of the late Harvey and Rose (Putnam) Thomas.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, LaPorte, IN
She worked as a Shipping Clerk for Howmet Austenal .
Surviving are Son, Gerald E (Marlene). Butjer of Sleepyeye, MN, Brother, Robert (Harriett) Thomas of Montrose,CO, Brother, James (JoAnn) Thomas of Marsing, ID. Granddaughters Tammy and Sheila Collins, both of Indpls, IN..Myrtle has many grandchildren and Great grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Monday, December 20, 2010 at the Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, IN.
Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Monday, December 20, 2010 at Cuter Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating.
Interment will follow in the Carmel Cemetery, LaPorte, IN.
