He was born March 23, 1977 in LaPorte, IN, Son of Edward Floyd Konieczny, Jr. and Doreen Andrea Legner who survive.
Also Surviving are his son: Tristin Nathaniel Johnson of Michigan City; Tristin's mother: April Johnson of Michigan City; Tristin's sister: Krysta Johnson also of Michigan City;1 brother: Cy Konieczny of LaPorte; 1 sister: Jessica (Christopher) Harding of LaPorte; grandparents: Rudolf & Patricia Legner; 2 step brothers: Darrell & Brett Becker of LaPorte; Aunts and Uncles: David & Toni Legner, Garry Legner, Carol & Jim Hagenow; several cousins and numerous friends.
Nathan was preceded in death by his grandfather: Edward Konieczny, Sr.
Nathan loved to cook and he worked in numerous restaurants over the years. His top priority was being with his son Tristin. He was passionate about his tattoos. Each one represented something in his life that was especially important. He also enjoyed music and mixing music on the record turntable. Nathan was never at a loss for companionship. He loved life and being generous to others was very important to him.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a time of visitation with the family on Tuesday, January 6, 2008 from 4-6 P.M. A Celebration of life memorial service will be held at 6 P.M. on Tuesday at Cutler Funeral Home in LaPorte, IN.
