Nathan C. Turner, 29, of La Porte, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at IU Health La Porte Hospital due to complications from pneumonia.
Nathan was born in La Porte, IN, on September 6, 1987 to Jimmie Turner and Chris Wolfenbarger.
On August 8, 2015 in Union Mills, IN, he married Alaina Cowgill who survives. Also surviving are his beloved six month old son, Jameson Turner; parents; sisters, Kaylee Wolfenbarger and Amber "Nikki" Turner, both of La Porte; brothers from other mothers: Zachary Baker, Luke Cummins, Patrick Gambrel and Louis Turner; as well as countless other family members and friends.
Nathan worked as a roofer for Kolar Roofing. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2439. Nathan loved being a father, husband, son, brother and friend.
A time of visitation will be held from 1 - 4 pm on Thursday, March 23, 2017 with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Cremation will take place after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for Jameson's college fund and directed to the family c/o Alaina Turner, 2900 Monroe St., La Porte, IN 46350.
