Neva Irene Kapp, 90, of LaPorte, Indiana, died at 6:55 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2004 at LaPorte Hospital.
A private family service will be held at the Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Ohime officiating. Cremation has taken place.
Neva was born April 14, 1914, in Lockwood, Missouri to Estus and Etta May (Springer) Rogers. She married Alden ?Al? Kapp, who preceded her in death on December 18, 1993.
Surviving are daughters Lou Ann (John) Wiencken and Dina (Fred) Pratt, both of LaPorte; grandchildren Susan (Charlie) Sparks, Cindy (Jerry) Logan, Janet (Scott) Lee and John Wiencken, Jr.; great-grandchildren Melissa Shepherd, Ryan Knoll, Bob Wayer and Jeremy & Jonathon Lee; great-great-granddaughter Alexa Saylor; and many nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
Neva was a dietician in Elkhart and for the State Hospital in Missouri. She had also been a ticket cashier in several theaters that her husband managed. She was also a member of LaPorte First Baptist Church.
