Nora Louise Bultema

Nora Louise Bultema, 36, of La Porte, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at her home, after a four year battle with cancer.

Nora was born in Valparaiso, IN, on August 6, 1982.

Nora leaves behind a wonderful mother, Maaike Ailes of La Porte; her sons, Matt King U.S. Army, Chris Bultema, and Austin Bultema, all of La Porte; brothers, David (Jackie) Pazdur of Johnsville, NY, Donald (Jenny) Pazdur of Portage, IN, and Joe (Leslie) Pazdur of Hebron, IN; sisters, Beth Ailes of Wanatah and Jessica (Ryan) Mottinger of Westville; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nora Yonker; uncle, George Yonker; and adopted grandparents, Nick and Lois Polite.

Nora was a Pre Certification Team Lead at AC3, where she had a wonderful, supportive work family in South Bend and Westville. She was all about her kids. She loved any beach, and she enjoyed traveling, reading, music and she was a talented artist.
Nora had a quick wit, and always spoke her mind with complete honesty. She has been described by others as; amazing, strong, one of a kind, sweet, wonderful, warrior, fun, beautiful, and inspirational. Most of all, Nora will be remembered as a loving mother, who's life revolved around her boys, especially when she was playing pranks or jumping out to scare them. Having fun with her boys, being silly, made her so happy.

Nora was a very proud person, taking pride in all she did. She also took much pride in her family and her boys. She was extremely proud to be an Army Mom and equally as proud to be a band mom. Nora will be greatly missed by all, our memories of her will live forever.

Cremation will take place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 4 pm (CT) on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor officiating.

A time of visitation will be held from 1 pm (CT) until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
