Orlando "Lanny" Lee Wozniak, age 64, of La Porte, passed away on June 15, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his 3 girls and welcomed into the loving arms of his Daddy on Fathers Day to truly worship.
He was born in Michigan City, IN, on February 24, 1950 to Roy Roman and Barbara Frances (Sajovic) Wozniak.
On August 18, 1990 he married Julie (Wegiel) Wozniak who survives. Also surviving are his beloved children, Missy Jablonski of La Porte, Mandy (Rob) Lower of La Porte; grandson, Cayden; granddaughters, Ahvanna, Madelynn, Laila, and Reese; and his brothers and sisters; Roy (Donna) Wozniak of Otis, IN, Barbara Horan of Indianapolis, Martha (Roger) Eitel of Athol, ID, Kenneth (Nancy) Wozniak of Alamagordo, NM, Rose (Ralph) Hindmarch of Mt. Carmel, PA, Carol (Wayne) Hopf of Easton, PA, Fay Messina of Wichita, KS, Hugh Wozniak of La Porte, and Hope Upchurch of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Andrew Wozniak; and two granddaughters, Bailey and Makenna.
Orlando worked at Bethlehem Steel for 30 years, also at AM General in South Bend for 10 years and G.A.F. in Michigan City. He enjoyed gardening, Bonsai, Harley Davidson, pin collecting, and Disney World. His passion outside of Jesus was his wife, children, and his grand babies.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Jeff Hines officiating. A time of visitation will take place on Wednesday from 4-8 PM and on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery following the service.
