Pat Whitney

Patrice "Pat" Robert Whitney, 62, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024.

Pat was born on August 29, 1962, in Cleveland, OH, to Robert and Evelyne Whitney.

Surviving are his fiancé, Patricia Larson of La Porte; stepdaughter, Maggie Larson of Ogden Dunes; stepson, Max Larson of Michigan City; grandson, Jason Adkins of La Porte; sister, Valerie Whitney of Niles, MI; stepmother, Sharon Whitney of Leesville, SC; nieces and nephews; lab, TJ; and cat, Ozzie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Whitney and labs, Abby and Dixie.

Pat worked as an Optician for 25 years. He also worked at Meyers 4x4 with his friends. Pat then worked in Post-Cast at Howmet Aerospace since 2016. He enjoyed Jeeps, rock crawling, motorcycling, fishing, gardening, and flying a private plane. Pat loved listening to Ozzy's Boneyard on Sirius.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Jeff Zigler officiating. Burial will take place at Salem Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of service on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the funeral home.
