Patricia Dolohery Thate, 78, of La Porte and formerly of Hanna, Ind., passed away Tuesday Jan. 26, 2010 at La Porte Hospital.
She was born March 19, 1931 in Plymouth, Ind., daughter of the late Alfred and Gertrude (Poor) Dolohery.
Patricia was married July 10, 1965 in La Porte to Clifford Carl Thate who preceded her in death May 22, 2001.
She worked at Trigg Buick & Pontiac, and retired from the La Porte Water Department after working there over 20 years.
Surviving are sons, Thomas Thate of Hanna, Steven (Connie) Thate of La Porte; daughter, Carol (John) Teshima of Michigan City; five grandchildren, several great-grandchilden; sisters, Mary Ruth Laymon of La Porte, Sharon (Wesley) Conley of La Porte, Joan (William) Kammler of Terre Haute, Ind.; brother, Ted (Judith) Dolohery of La Porte and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Margaret Hamilton.
Friends will be received at Cutler Funeral Home, La Porte, from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, with a funeral service on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dan McDonald officiating. Interment will follow in the Hanna Cemetery.
