Patsy Jane Kirkland-Wanke, 61, Michigan City, died at 2 p.m. Thursday (May 11, 2006) at her home of natural causes.
Private family services will be 11 AM Tuesday at Cutler Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Ash officiating. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9 - 11 AM.
Mrs. Wanke was born Feb. 21, 1945, in Pascagoula, Miss., to Ellis and Vister (Winsett) Peaks. They preceded her in death. She married Larry Wanke, who survives in Michigan City.
Survivors also include two daughters, Pamela Denise Bailey and Kathy Renee Kirkland, both of Michigan City; two sons, Stephen Todd Kirkland and Jeffery Dean Kirkland, both of Michigan City; one stepson, Bartley J. Wanke, Sault St. Marie, Mich.; five sisters, Peggy L. Austin, LaPorte, Annett Golik, Largo, Fla., Debbie Grice, British Columbia, Canada, Linda Peaks, LaPorte, and Anna Peaks, Hawaii; and two brothers, Jim Peaks, Largo, Fla., and John Peaks, LaPorte.
Mrs. Wanke was a member of Countryside Christian Church.
